Chemical Staff

Job description :
- Perform chemical system and laboratory operations in the power plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
- Conduct routine chemical testing and analysis of water, coal, oil, ash, and other materials to maintain process quality and compliance with operational standards.
- Support the monitoring, evaluation, and optimization of chemical systems, including boilers, condensers, turbines, and coal handling systems.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues related to chemical processes, online analyzers, and laboratory equipment.
- Manage chemical inventory by maintaining adequate stock levels, monitoring usage, and initiating procurement requests when necessary.
- Support operational planning activities, including daily analysis, budgeting, forecasting, technical reporting, and annual work planning.
- Ensure plant equipment and facilities are protected from adverse chemical effects and that operating parameters remain within design specifications.
- Coordinate with Chemical, Environmental, Main Plant, and Coal Handling teams to support smooth plant operations.
- Conduct additional duties assigned by the Chemical Leader in accordance with operational requirements and individual competencies. chemical analyses results should be immediately reported to Chemical Leader.

Qualifications:
- Minimum background education (diploma) D3 or bachelor’s degree
- Majoring in chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum years of experience 1 – 3 years at laboratory of coal power plant
- Preferred experience and skills:
* Familiar and experienced on laboratory analysis all for water, coal, ash, oil, etc.
* Familiar work with chemical hazards and safety.
